It is fast growing and will reach up to 1 metre in height. It size means that it is often planted mid border, either among other bedding plants or spot planted between herbaceous plants and grasses. It rarely survives the winter months so is often planted in containers, where it is for it is grown for its compact habit and long flowering period.
Cultivation tips: Argyranthemum will require a warm sheltered spot in full sun to survive the British winter. It will tolerate any fertile well drained soil, and can be grown in a container and overwintered under cold glass. Stake taller plants and propagate by cuttings.
